Leonardo da Vinci

Born on April 15, 1452, in Vinci, Italy, Leonardo da Vinci was concerned with the laws of science and nature, which greatly informed his work as a painter, sculptor, inventor and draftsmen. His ideas and body of work—which includes “The Last Supper,” and “Mona Lisa” made da Vinci a leading light of the Italian Renaissance.

Over the years, the Società da Vinci has awarded grants that support our mission of promoting and advancing the rich cultural heritage of the Italian people through education, service, charity and community events. All of the funds raised by the Societa’ da Vinci goes directly back into our community through our grants program
